The Welcome Bonus
Signing up for the first time with an online casino can be really exciting because you get to start with the welcome bonus, or sign up bonus. I didn’t really understand what that entailed, did the casino just throw in the $100 into my account when I signed up? What exactly did I need to do to get the bonus? I found out that its not as simple as just getting it deposited into my account, but it wasn’t that difficult to get it, either.
The way it works is simple, but may vary from casino to casino. The average amount of a welcome bonus is $100 (and I would definitely check the fine print if it’s more), and basically that means you can receive up to that amount, depending on you much you deposit or wager. A casino may have a match bonus, which means that for every dollar you put in, they match you a dollar up to $100. They could have a percentage bonus, too, like if they had a 50% bonus then for every dollar you put in, they put in fifty cents, or for a 200% bonus they put in two dollars for every dollar.
You should be aware that most online casinos require you to first wager a certain amount before you can cash out. Some online casinos will require you to wager 25 times the bonus before you can cash out, while others give you limited time to use your bonuses.
